Geert Meermans is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Bravis Hospital, Bergen op Zoom and Roosendaal, The Netherlands. His current practice is focused on hip and knee surgery. He has 100+ presentations on international meetings, has published numerous clinical research papers and several book chapters, was chief editor of a book on hip surgery and rehabilitation and is a reviewer for several respected medical journals. For his research he received several Awards including the McKee Award of the British Hip Society and the Award of Excellence from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Meermans’ current research interest focuses on improving cup placement in total hip arthroplasty and peri-operative care after total joint arthroplasty with a special interest in prevention of periprosthetic infection, blood management and pathways in enhanced recovery after total hip and knee arthroplasty. He is also involved in the basic research of scaphoid fracture fixation.

Neil Sheth is Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He then spent 2 years on Wall Street as a Financial Analyst in Solomon Smith Barney's Healthcare Investment banking division prior to attending medical school at the Albany Medical College. Dr. Sheth has now returned to join the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and focuses his research on acetabular bone loss pertaining to revision total hip arthroplasty, peri-prosthetic infection and the role of orthopaedic surgery in global health.

Dr. Carlos E. Suarez Ahedo is a doctor who graduated from La Salle University. He specialized in orthopedics and traumatology at the Spanish Hospital in Mexico. He later did the High Specialty of Articular Surgery and Articular Reconstruction of the Hip and Knee at the National Institute Of Rehabilitation and also held a Fellowship in Chicago, USA in Hip Preservation Surgery. He is also a Physician in the Service of Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the National Institute of Rehabilitation.

Dr. Christopher M. Melnic attended Boston College where he majored in Biology, minored in Mathematics, and was granted early acceptance into Tufts University School of Medicine where he obtained his medical degree. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania followed by a fellowship in Adult Joint Reconstruction at the prestigious Rush University in Chicago. He currently practices at Massachusetts General Hospital and Newton-Wellesley Hospital where his practice focuses on minimally invasive joint replacement, partial knee replacements, and complex primary and revision hip and knee replacements. He is also a clinical instructor of Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School.

His works focus specially on implants fixation, new technologies and Dual Mobility cups that he has used for more than 20 years. He was one of the organizer of Lyon Hip Arthroplasty 2017 which made possible to update on them. He acquired this expertise through his practical experience, his research and his teaching. Dr. Ashok Rajgopal, has dedicated the past 30 years of his career to the development of orthopaedics in India. He has his expertise in Knee replacement surgery and sports injuries of the knee joint. After pioneering bilateral total knee replacement in India he went on to pioneer minimally invasive unicompartmental surgery in the country. A designer surgeon, he is a member of the Global Persona Developer Team supported by Zimmer and has been instrumental in designing the Persona Knee System. As a sports surgeon he has treated several international level players for knee related sports injuries.
